В России вновь обсуждается увеличение штрафов за управление автомобилем без полиса ОСАГО. Эта тема периодически поднимается, поскольку действующие штрафы считаются устаревшими. Парламент Кабардино-Балкарской республики направил в Госдуму законопроект, в котором предлагается установить размер штрафа за повторное нарушение, связанное с отсутствием полиса ОСАГО, в размере до 5 тысяч рублей. Текст документа уже доступен в электронной базе Госдумы. Об этом сообщает издание «Парламентская газета».
На текущий момент штраф за отсутствие полиса ОСАГО составляет 800 рублей. Важно отметить, что это наказание применяется за первое нарушение. В случае повторного нарушения размер штрафа может увеличиваться. Если текущая инициатива по увеличению штрафов будет одобрена, то возможным станет и значительно более крупный штраф, как предполагается в недавно внесённом законопроекте.
