Депутаты петербургского Заксобрания предлагают в 6 раз увеличить штрафы за отсутствие ОСАГО. Главным образом мера нацелена на тех, у кого есть полис, но документ не действует или отсутствует при себе.
Сейчас за это полагается штраф всего в 500 руб., но депутаты считают эту меру неэффективной, поэтому хотят увеличить штраф до 3 тыс. руб. Водителей, которые ранее не оформляли полис, хотят штрафовать на 5 тыс. руб., а не 800.
Депутаты говорят о том, что эта мера необходима из-за отсутствия повышения штрафов с 2013 года. Из-за сформированной разницы между стоимостью страховки и размера штрафов многие водители пренебрегают правилами.
